BEV JAY-FENN (PATNELL) 
​CEO AND FOUNDER
I have over 35yrs experience in the delivery of children and young people’s services, ranging from residential social worker in the biggest SEN’s residential schools in London, to managing Shaw trust’s young people’s service.  I have worked in statutory services, such as local schools, colleges and nurseries and within the voluntary sector as a befriender to the elderly, arts coordinator to the visually impaired and manager of Shaw Trusts young people’s project. I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge, enjoy challenges and I am passionate ​in the vision I hold.

In December 2011 I was made redundant from Shaw Trust and the project that I had developed over five years closed its doors to the young people of Lowestoft.
I felt that those young people did not need to lose a service, so I took a gamble and put a new
service back on the shelf!  

And so.... Involve was born.

Our vision is for the INVOLVE Centre, to be a community engagement project, where families can access services and activities to support the needs of their children, young people and adults.
We offer new opportunities and social experiences and deliver programmes to support in transition into independence, the world of work.
