COVID-19 update 31.12.20
As I am sure you are aware, the government has moved Suffolk into Tier 4 due to the significant rise in numbers and the threat of this new strain of COVID-19 being 70% more transmissible. Whilst we can open the centre under the current guidelines we have looked at the risks involved with this and have taken the decision to provide online/phone provision from the 6th January. This is not a decision we have taken lightly but feel that it is the best way to keep our service users and staff safe.
We understand that this decision may not be what you were hoping to hear but we will be doing our best to provide online sessions. These will be provided via zoom on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10am and 1pm until we re-open. The invites to these zoom sessions will be sent via email and we really hope that you will all join us for these.
We will also be making individual weekly contact with you all to make sure everything is ok and if you need any extra help or support. If you receive 121 support these will be with your usual 121 mentor.
I would just like to say again this really is not a decision that we want to make and we will continue to be guided by the Government, but we will always put the safety of our service users and staff first. I hope you all understand the reasons we have come to this decision. We will continually review this decision and keep you informed as soon as anything changes.
